Rats & Mice
Rats and mice can have viruses that cause serious illnesses and death. Hantavirus is spread through contact with rodents, especially their urine, droppings, and saliva. It can also be spread through a bite or scratch, but this is rare. The virus can be released into the air when disturbed by rodents or human activities, such as sweeping or vacuuming. Breathing in the virus is the most common way of getting infected. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dizziness. Cockroach
Cockroaches can carry diseases because they eat a wide variety of food, including rotting garbage, and bacteria that can survive in their digestive systems for months or even years. Humans can contract these diseases by eating food that has been contaminated by cockroaches when crawling or pooping over your food or anything you may come in contact with. Bed Bug Inspections
Adult bed bugs are usually brown in color. When filled with blood, their color ranges from red to dark brown. They are oval in shape and about the size of a flattened apple seed, 4 to 7 mm in length. If you're suddenly experiencing signs of a bed bug infestation in your home for the first time, they likely snuck their way in as a stowaway on a purse, luggage, or clothing. Secondhand furniture, particularly mattresses, box springs, couches, and chairs, may be harboring hungry bed bugs. If you feel you may have been invaded by Bed Bugs, it's better to treat the invested area sooner than later. They spread and can cause an infestation within a short period of time.
Black Widow & Brown Recluse Spider
These dangerous spiders are found both inside and outside of the home. The Recluse is not quite as deadly as the Black Widow, a bite from a Brown Recluse can cause severe illness and in rare cases death in the young and elderly, or those who are sensitive to the venom.
If a BLACK WIDOW spider has bitten you, get medical treatment
right away. This spider type is found throughout the world. While they're found all over the United States, they're most common in the Southern and Western states.
BROWN RECLUSE spider bite victims can experience fever, convulsions, itching, nausea and muscle pain. In extreme cases, brown recluse spider bites may result in necrosis, or the death of living cells. In this case, painful open wounds appear and do not heal quickly.
Flies & Gnats
Eating food exposed to flies spread Cholera in most cases. The disease-causing agents can either be transmitted by the body hairs or by the tarsi which are transmitted to food or surfaces when the fly lands. One single fly that lands on your food will immediately vomit on the food it landed on. Gnats and flies can be treated in multiple ways, but keeping the windows closed if you don't have screens, is a good start. Treatment varies on the situation.
